Job Description:
Position Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Deputy Program Manager, the Program Assistant will primarily provide support in the implementation and monitoring of RET’s health projects (host communities and displaced persons) and ensure transparency and integrity across all programs activities. Additionally, the Program Assistant will provide support and assistance as required to programs in the Education Protection sectors.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the initial assessment of new health facility projects.
Assist in the rapid start-up of new health facilities.
Manage all necessary admin paper work to pay incentives and running costs.
Assist in non-medical supplies by doing all required admin paper work.
Assist with administrative duties such as filing, scanning, copying, and mailing.
Assist in the preparation and drafting of periodic program reports to Donors and RET.
Assist Deputy Program Manager with special projects including travel, logistics, event preparation and research.
Assist in implementation of programs in line with the approved project proposal and budget.
Assist in implementing an effective monitoring and evaluation framework for the program.
Where appropriate, work closely with partner organizations in completing the above tasks.
Assist in the proper implementation of other programs inside Syria Turkey whenever assigned by the line manager

Qualifications & Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree and at least 1 years’ experience of program management assistantship/support;
Previous NGO experience in preferably, an emergency response/conflict setting and for health programs in the Humanitarian sector;
If no NGO experience, strong previous work experience in project management, or experience working in a multinational position required;
Fluency in English and Arabic are essential; Turkish will be considered a strong asset.
Strong IT skills, including MS Office Word and Excel;
Able to prioritize, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines;
Able to work independently and within a team;
Good administration skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task;
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment;
Must be flexible, adaptable and willing to perform other duties and work irregular hours.
