Takaful Al Sham Charity is a non-governmental civil society organization devoted to alleviating the suffering and improving the sustainability mechanisms of conflict-affected population. Takaful Al Sham Charity partners directly with affected Syrian populations delivering humanitarian and development programs, Livelihood, Education, and Protection, to enable them to improve their living practices and their sustainability mechanisms.

He/She will be responsible for developing issues related to protection mainstreaming (Safeguarding, PSEA, Gender, and Inclusion the PwDs) in all TAS's projects, communicating with donors and responding to requirements, providing training for staff and awareness sessions for beneficiaries through the Protection Mainstreaming Team, and following up on complaints related to Safeguarding and SEA.

· KEY RESPONSIBILITIE

· Developing procedures for protection mainstreaming, and cross-cutting issues in humanitarian projects "Safeguarding, PSEA, Gender, and Inclusion the people with disabilities" in the organization.

· Developing "forms" related to the protection mainstreaming issues.

· Communication with donors and meeting requirements related to protection mainstreaming.

· Providing training to the TAS team in Safeguarding, PSEA, Gender, and Inclusion the people with disabilities, and then transferring these pieces of training to TAS teams in Syria.

· Developing mechanisms to educate beneficiaries about protection mainstreaming and ensuring that there are posters that include complaints mechanisms.

· Follow up by applying checklists on protection risks with the protection mainstreaming team for each project and issuing reports to be sent to donors.

· Follow up on Safeguarding and SEA complaints in accordance with TAS policies, coordinate investigations, and provide feedback to stakeholders.

· Develop project proposals to include protection mainstreaming issues and suggest activities to mitigate risks.

· Preparing reports and filling out tracking forms

· Writing minutes of meetings and attending periodic meetings in the Networks.

· Prepare and design presentations about protection mainstreaming and present them in donor's meetings.

Compliance with codes of conduct, child protection policies, and sexual exploitation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor's degree.

· At least two years of experience in humanitarian work and organizations

· At least two years of experience responding to child safeguarding issues and protection risks

· Excellent experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

· Sufficient knowledge of the Protection mainstreaming and cross-cutting issues in humanitarian projects.

· Experience in preparing reports, making forms, and follow-up files

· Very good communication skills

· Very good level of English (writing, speaking, reading)

· High level of interpersonal coordination.

· Good prioritization and time management skills.

· At least one training certificate in the following subjects: "Safeguarding, Gender Mainstreaming, PSEA, and Inclusion of People with Disabilities".

Desirable

· Experience in managing humanitarian projects

· pmd pro1 certificate
