JOB SUMMARY
The project coordinator provides support to the Protection Program including child protection, psycho-social support, and gender-based violence response teams to ensure efficiency of operations, budget monitoring, and high-quality services to beneficiaries.
Who this position reports to: Program Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOBSIBILITIES
-General Administration
- Assists program manager(s), and supports protection staff with program implementation and office administration tasks
- Responsible for all administrative functions related to the financial management and budget monitoring work for GBV/CP/PSS activities
- Coordinates logistics for the department's in-office meetings and community events including scheduling, venue arrangements, set-up, equipment needs, refreshments, materials, invitation and RSVP process
- Raises purchase requests (PR) as directed by the Program Manager(s) and in accordance with the procurement plan.
- Conducts follow-up on PRs with Finance and Procurement and keeps track of the process.
- Prepares all related documentation to community outreach worker contracts and payments
- Ensures that staff timesheets are filled and submitted to HR in timely manner
- Prepares movement plan for the field teams and shares it with the Logistics teams
- Scanning and printing of documents
- Any other tasks assigned by the supervisors
-Programs Support
Provides translation services of program activities as required, both written and real-time verbal
Assists in coordination of work
Supports data collection and analysis for all programs, including data input
· Supports development of program and M&E reports, assessments and surveys, including data analysis
-Program Development
- Provides support to program development by arranging meetings, taking minutes of meetings, providing translations
- Assembles data and information from assessments and survey, collect secondary data for concept notes and proposals as required by Program Manager and other program staff
Other ad-hoc duties as required by supervisors
Position Requirements:
Required:A Bachelor's degree from a university/college; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively utilize numerous computer applications required including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and must have a willingness to learn new relevant software programs as they become essential.
Must be able to effectively verbally communicate with supervisors and the general public and understand verbal and written instructions and other communications regarding work assignments and other matters.
Fluent in Arabic & English (strong written and verbal skills)
Preferred:Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Two years of work experience in a relevant role
