About UOSSM: Union of Medical Care and Relief Organizations UOSSM is a federation of humanitarian medical aid and relief, non-for-profit, non-governmental, member organizations. Position Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic direction and overall supervision and successful implementation of the program
Development of work plans and budget management according to program outputs and results
Develop a schedule for program completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
Manage teams to complete program goals on time and on budget, while ensuring that the program meet high quality standards.
Evaluate activity progress and determine necessary actions to course correct
Present reports defining program progress, problems and solutions.
Lead the process and provide program reports that are timely and meet institutional and donor requirements. The PM is ultimately responsible for all relevant donor reporting.
Represent RI at relevant UN Cluster and working groups and other stakeholder or coordination meetings, as needed, and maintain a positive, continuous and visible presence for RI
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with local authorities and vendors
Facilitate donor visits to program sites as appropriate
Work constructively with support teams to ensure sound administrative practices with regards to record keeping, compliance with donor regulations, communications, etc
Qualifications & Requirements:
This position demands a dynamic individual with a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment
Required Education
Bachelor degree in medicine, pharmacy, psychology, sociology (or equal) or equivalent years of experience in development studies, social sciences or related field
Experience Required
At least 2 years work experience in program management, with direct work experience in program management capacity.
Computer skills
Excellent skills on Microsoft Office, Excel, word.
Languages
Fluent in English, Turkish, Arabic will be a plus
Strong English writing skills required

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks efficiently;
Excellent time management skills and resourcefulness with strong attention to detail;
Proven knowledge of program management techniques and tools.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills
