Overview:
Syria Relief & Development (SRD) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing humanitarian aid to Syrians affected by violence, hunger, poverty, injury and displacement. Our Mission is to provide crisis humanitarian relief and plant the seeds of sustainable development for the people of Syria. Our Vision is to maintain humanitarian relief and mobilize resources to develop a comprehensive agenda for sustainable development in Syria. SRD is headquartered in the United States with offices in Amman, Jordan and Gaziantep, Turkey.
Main Objectives of this Position:
Collect information on public health and provide input to projects
Ensure the project activities are implemented in line with the project goal, objective and work plans.
Regularly monitor progress of project implementation and conduct assessments of the health needs of the community and prioritize project activities based on findings.
Ensure accurate collection and analysis of data. compile epidemiological reports for inclusion in project situation reports and any other patient reports.
Ensure that the project expenditure is within the agreed and approved budget, and conduct expenditure against budget monitoring on monthly basis
Together with the field, Project and program Managers responsible for the encouraging community participation in health activities to ensure the long term ownership and effectiveness of the program
Ensure the medical supplies stocks are sufficient and that drugs are stored and used correctly.
prepare project monthly, quarterly, midterm and final reports for submission to Project Managers on timely manner
Education:
Bachelor degree, preferably in, Health, Pharmacy, Public Administration, Business management or a related discipline with minimum 2 (three years’ relevant work experience)
Skills:
Basic understanding through minimal experience or training
Ability to be self-supporting and pro-active
Expert knowledge and ability to provide coaching/consultancy
Ability to work in team environment
Demonstrates ability to develop and manage stakeholder relationships
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience of using own initiative in organizing and prioritizing workload
Analytical skills and ability to assimilate and process information on a wide
variety of issues
Advanced Microsoft Office
Excellent writing skills in English qՎL
