Syria Relief & Development (SRD) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing humanitarian aid to Syrians affected by violence, hunger, poverty, injury and displacement. Our Mission is to provide crisis humanitarian relief and plant the seeds of sustainable development for the people of Syria. Our Vision is to maintain humanitarian relief and mobilize resources to develop a comprehensive agenda for sustainable development in Syria. SRD is headquartered in the United States with offices in Amman, Jordan and Gaziantep, Turkey.
WORK ASSIGNMENT:
- Manage all donor reporting processes through the coordination and drafting of high quality donor reports for the SRD Syria, ensuring compliance with SRD and donor requirements and timely submission to donors.
- Serve as the focal point for grants between SRD Syria country office and SRD Turkey.
- Develop and maintain grant management tools, such as reporting and proposal trackers, regularly circulating to relevant staff with the support of the Program Coordinators.
- Strengthen and build the capacity of the grants team to develop creative, responsible, competitive concept notes and proposals and quality, accurate donor reports.
Proposal development - Working closely with Program Coordinators, contribute to new program development and strategic planning.
- Research new program and funding opportunities in line with SRD Syria country strategic plan, including liaising with other INGOs, donors and others to maintain current knowledge of the donor environment and ‘map’ funding opportunities for SRD’s program in Syria.
Review SRD’s partner proposals and budgets when requested, providing constructive feedback QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience in finance/accounting field.
· BA in Accounting, Finance, Business, Administration or finance-related degree
· Good in English both speaking and writing.
· knowledge, experience of working with accounting software

· Excellent knowledge of excel
· experience of at least 2 years working in a related work
· strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skill
· good understanding of the value of team work
