Baytna Syria was launched in 2013 as a networking, training, and grant-making facility for Syrian civil society organizations, offering support to CSOs based inside Syria and the neighbouring countries.
Baytna Syria is seeking to recruit a Capacity Building Assistant (CBA) to assist in the implementation of the capacity building program and the collection, analysis and reporting of results

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares Terms of Reference for Training Experts
Supports the design of the training and capacity development activities of Baytna Syria implementing partners based inside and outside Syria
Coordinates capacity building activities inside Syria through the designated Field Program Officers based inside Syria
Prepares documents to support the training and capacity development activities and establishes and maintains an electronic filing system to monitor training provision, maintaining new and archiving old training material
Tracks external training income and expenditure (where applicable) and contributes to tracking and management of the training budget, working closely with the Finance and Administration Unit
Follow up and update the needed M&E Tools including the Data Collection tools.
Follow up on the pre-set analysis tools and the post trainings reports.
Follow up and coordinate with the field team to get the latest project updates
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· At least a Bachelor’s degree in education / public policy / business management or any other relevant field of study
· Excellent experience in data collection and analysis, data management and reporting
· Ability to work in a team and to sometimes tight deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
· Very good mastering of English and Arabic (both verbal and written)
· Excellent knowledge of and expertise in logframes, theory of change, monitoring and evaluation toolbox
· Politically and culturally sensitive with qualities of patience, tact and diplomacy
· Commitment to the aims and principles of Baytna Syria. In particular, a good understanding of the Baytna Syria mandate and Theory of Change.
· Ability to create new ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including creative contributions
· Proficient in use of computer applications related to the tasks
· Experience of working with local NGOs, INGOs and government bodies would be an advantage
