About this position:
RRF is looking for a person to fill this position and be proactive, self-oriented towered creating and developing the current projects , have deep understanding for the Syrian conflict contexts and donors strategies for Syria response , the prior contract period will be six months and then the contract will be renewed as per the available budget
1) To follow up the projects **
o To ensure the implementation of projects in accordance with the logical framework and approved budgets;
o To carry out regular missions of supervision;
o To provide training to improve the capacities of local offices
2) To ensure a clear administrative and financial management of the Program
o To measure the technical and financial progress of the projects and any problems encountered;
o To complete and finalize the technical and financial reports to be submitted to the various donors
3) To develop and maintain current protection and education projects
o To engage with other national and international NGOs to identify, organize and support potential new projects based on a holistic and innovative approach to conservation;
o Contribute to production of proposals for any new projects
o Lead on the establishment of the mobile Protection teams
o · Identify local partners and points of service and support for individuals in need of protection assistance
o · Work in collaboration with the Protection partners to establish/reinforce appropriate community outreach and support structures as well as establish and/or reinforce referral pathways
o Support the integration of protection principles into Educational units
o · Compile monthly and quarterly reports, on time and with accurate data
o · Maintain flexibility to take on added responsibility as and when needed
- Provide effective, innovative and technical leadership in the education & protection (gender, child protection, disability) project management
- Ensure sector programming with a focus on the Most Vulnerable Children
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
• Languages: Good in English and Arabic (writing –reading –speaking) other language will be desired especially Turkish
• Computing: Proficient in Microsoft Office including, excel, word, outlook etc.
• Communication skills: negotiating, facilitating and presenting as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
• Time management, organization and work prioritization
• Leadership and development
• Work overtime when required
· A Bachelor’s degree in education, childhood development, and special needs education or equivalent.
· Minimum of two years working experience in education sector initiatives at community level **
