Job Purpose
To manage needs assessment activities, in order to design project based on pre-defined needs and gaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop assessment strategy for projects by identifying information gaps and response.
- Work closely with programmes teams to develop assessments methodologies and tools.
- Coordinate and ensure timely data collection and analysis.
- Ensure the writing of timely and accurate assessment reports.
Accountability and Learning:
- Close collaboration with the programmes teams to develop, build on and implement an accountability framework
- Supervise the production of reports on M&E activities to support learning and facilitate any follow-up.
- Document lessons learned and recommendations, and follow-up with programmes teams on the implementation of recommendations through scheduled review
- Conduct learning workshops with project teams and partners, generate lessons learning reports and share findings

Qualification (Education/Work Experience)
Essential:
- Degree in Business administration or a related field, degree of practical experience in MEAL sector.
- The ability to use statistical programs and analyse data, draw conclusions, and high skills in reporting.
- Strong capacity for M&E analysis and research
- Language skills: Fluency in reading, and writing in English, and Arabic.
- Commitment to humanitarian relief standards, abilities, and personal skills
- Strong conceptual and practical understanding of the role and purpose of M&E and accountability for humanitarian organizations.
Desirable:
- Advanced university degree (Master degree or equivalent) in Business Administration, or related field.
