General Description of the Organization:
Orange is a non-governmental civil society organization devoted to alleviating the suffering and improving the sustainability mechanisms of conflict affected population.
Orange partners directly with affected Syrian populations delivering humanitarian and development programmes, Livelihood, Education, and Protection, to enable them to improve their living practices and their sustainability mechanisms.
Orange also collaborates with national and international non-governmental organizations, local initiatives responding to the humanitarian Syrian crisis with capacity development programmes, to be better equipped with the skills they need to prepare and respond to affected population’s needs and to ensure that these communities where we work in are ready for any future disasters.

Permanent Tasks and Responsibilities:
Running of livelihoods centres (50%)
Welcome beneficiaries at the centre, provide orientation information and refer them to a Counselling Assistant
Organise and facilitate access to the computer room
Plan use of training rooms on a bi-weekly basis and share planning with training officers and trainers
Facilitate the organisation of other events related to the project
Provide logistics support and closely coordinate with logistics department to address logistics needs
Maintain robust communication channels at the centre to ensure beneficiaries and staff have access to information in a transparent manner
Raise any issues and challenges about the running of the centres with supervisor in a timely manner
Organisation and facilitation of training sessions (30%)
Reach out to beneficiaries to invite them to participate in trainings and other livelihoods activities per the recommendations of the Counselling Assistants
Lead procurement of training materials and distribute at training sessions
Ensure attendance sheets are filled out by all training participants and trainers at each training section
File attendance sheets and training evaluations
Maintain up to date contact information for beneficiaries and follow up with them after they receive training or other support, answering their questions and responding to their concerns
General Programming and Operations (10%)
At all times be aware of, note, and report to supervisor the changing needs of target populations
Identify and discuss new approaches to improving the running of the livelihoods centre and livelihoods activities
Maintain the Complaints and Feedback Mechanisms (i.e. suggestion box at the centre) and liaise with relevant staff to analyse beneficiary feedback.
Monitoring & Evaluation (10%)
Work closely with the monitoring and data management team to provide relevant information and data, such as registration numbers, beneficiary feedback about activities, attendance sheets, training evaluations, etc.
Participate in the internal evaluation of the program
Complete any additional tasks identified by Supervisor
Essential Qualification:
University degree or advanced training/coursework in administration, human resources, communication, or a related field
Knowledge and practice with Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Relevant professional experience with a humanitarian aid organization is preferred
Preferred Experiences:
Experience in centre / event management
An understanding of humanitarian/civil society issues in Turkey and the region
Experience working with Syrian refugees

Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment
Ability to multi-task and cope with competing demands under tight deadlines
Flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn from others
Language Skills:
Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and oral).
Turkish is an asset.
