Job Purpose
To primarily provide support to the office Team in end user helpdesk. The IT Assistant will work closely with the IT Officer who will assign him/her the tasks required in support of ACU team.
The Position's primary focus is on the areas of computer operations, user and desktop support
(hardware and software), helpdesk. Performs a variety of information technology support duties to ensure smooth delivery of technology services. Monitors, operates, or coordinates and assists others in the operation of computer hardware, software, and peripherals in order to achieve desired results.
Key Responsibilities
The IT Assistant will provide support in the following areas:
Assist in the operation and maintenance of the Local Area Network (LAN)
Assist in maintaining all IT equipment for ACU offices in Gaziantep
Assist in installing \ configuring APPs for the end-user upon request.
Provide 1st line support for communications equipment of wired and wireless networks.
Assist in the daily and routine IT support tasks, such as Installation, operation, and maintenance of computer systems and IT-related technologies.
Assist in updating workstation and keep data of End-user backed up to cloud storage.
Ensure end-user system is running smoothly by providing system administration and maintenance, ensure data protection and provide end-user support.
Work on-behalf of the IT officer when needed.
Maintain a high degree of client support for all queries.
Work closely and reporting to the IT officer.
Provide 1st line support for printers (replace toners + schedule cleaning).
The IT Assistant may be asked to perform any other duty or task as requested by the IT Officer.
The work is of a highly confidential nature and the IT Assistant must maintain the highest standards of confidentiality.
Note: the above mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Another future responsibilities/accountability may be assigned to the job depending on the department organizational chart.
Qualification (Education/Work Experience/Languages)
A.Essential:
Degree in Information technology or related field.
At least 2 years of experience of progressively technical experience in
Information Technology or computer science.
- Fluent in Arabic and English is required.
B.Desirable:
Degree in computer science, having technical certificates such as: A+, CCNA, MCSE.
Experience in enterprise work-platform up to 3 years.
Fluent in Turkish language.
