Role Purpose:

The position requires creative Graphic designer with up-to-date knowledge to interpret our activities into design solutions with high visual impact. The work includes a variety of products, including websites, reports, press releases, catalogs, exhibitions, brand identity.

-Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· Maintain and develop SEMA Visual Identity, and ensure that SEMA Visual Identity is visual in all media products. This might include designing dedicated logos or Visual Identity for one of SEMA Projects or events.

· Deliver creative and innovative ideas for print, web and interactive presentations.

· Design and lay-out of reports and other media materials (banners, posters, booklets, leaflets, books, calendars, bulletins, flyers, cards).

· Support and lead the design process of reports and presentations for printing, electronic distribution.

· Lay‐out weekly, monthly and other recurrent reports in close cooperation with the project team.

· Design templates for new publications and products.

· Maintain templates (Word, PowerPoint etc.) and give technical support for the use of them.

· Improve and edit art‐works, photos, charts and other graphic elements.

· Create illustrations such as info-graphics and animation of maps and more advanced solutions.

· Custom photo editing (restoration, noise reduction, tonal adjustment).

· Creative graphic and technical solutions for use of new media.

· Work with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design.

· Assist in establishing and be responsible for maintaining photo archive; in coordination with photographer.

· Development of presentations, web interface and interactive products; in coordination with content manager.

Any other duties assigned by line manager when required

-Qualifications, Experiences and Competencies:

· A university degree in a relevant field, such as fine art, marketing/communications, or graphic. Or 3 years of equivalent training and experience.

· At least 1 years of experience in graphic designing.

· Strong practical background in graphic design, including the knowledge of design software such as Adobe Design Premium‐package, design tools and software such as Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, In Design, Illustrator, 3DMax, and Acrobat …etc.

· Good understanding of new and evolving technologies and digital platforms.

· Knowledge of standard software packages (MS Office – MS PowerPoint – MS Visio – Adobe Acrobat).

· Ability to take initiative and work without supervision.

· Excellent communication skills Good in English and Arabic
