Turkey: GBV Facilitator (Syrian/Turkish National)

• Facilitate or lead educational, psychosocial and recreational activities for Men in the Community centers.
• Facilitate confidential referral of survivors of gender-based violence to health, psychosocial, legal, and psychosocial support, as appropriate
• Assist the site-supervisor with the day-to-day operations of the Community centers.
• Supervise Community center volunteers and related activities as requested by supervisor
• Ensure that Community center activities are conducted in agreement with the Community center rules, guidelines and are culturally appropriate.
• Provide Community center attendees with information regarding IMC services and, as appropriate, conduct individual and home-based visits with Men to raise awareness of services
• Track and report on participant attendance for activities and supply utilization at the Community center
• Ensure that the Community center is kept in a clean and orderly manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Skills in teaching Languages course and Skills building.

· Relevant background in teaching.

· Previous experience in volunteering.

· Arabic fluency required.

· Commitment to humanitarian principles.

· Good interpersonal / communication skills.

· Motivation to work in the prevention of Gender Based Violence.
