Position Summary:
Implementing Community Level Life Skills activities under the direct supervision of the Senior
Program Officer, while coordinating Supporting Educational Access and Psychosocial (SEAP)
services in Gaziantep
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- In coordination with Outreach Coordinator, conduct quality promotions and outreach to the
- Supporting Educational Access and Psychosocial (SEAP) services in Gaziantep target group
- (Out-of-school Syrian refugee and vulnerable Turkish children and adolescents)
- Introducing life skills interventions to communities
- Facilitate the trainings planned for the target group
- Monitor, in conjunction with the local partner and appropriate stakeholders, the application
- of the training on the ground
- Ensure that enrolled adolescents demonstrate improved life skills
- Assist in finalizing “end-of-training” documentation for each event, such as attendance
- sheets, course summary sheets, and training reports
- Take on additional responsibilities related to life skills as requested by the coordinator;
- Assist in following up on a systemic filling system for the life skills component.
- Make sure Gender Balance and all constituency representation are clear in the training
- Ensure the application of development values in the training such as equality, non-discrimination,
- inclusiveness, and community ownership
- Qualifications & Requirements:
- Preferred formal training in life skills or early childhood education; or degree in related
- field
- Previous working in organizing delivering and following up training
- Proven experience working in the field of life skills and/or informal education for adults
- Capacity to work with and support local partners in their application of the life skills program Employee RI
Excellent team playing, interpersonal and communication skills
Shall be flexible, willing to perform other duties and work irregular hours.
Fluent in Arabic. Turkish and English will be an asset.
