MWL is a humanitarian, advocacy, non-profit organization dedicated to work with communities in order to overcome poverty. main priorities are aimed at empowering women, youth, people with disabilities and children by enabling them to participate in economic, social, and civil spheres. We aim to protecting women, youth, people with disabilities and children rights by the constitution and legislation systems.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy

· Assist in the regular review and roll out of HR policies, employment policies and procedures in compliance to MWL standards and evolving national labour law.

· Assist in the development of staffing and recruitment plan to ensure that each team is staffed appropriately, according to need and funding availability, in an efficient and timely manner.

· Ensure the consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures across the MWL.

Recruitment & Selection

· Ensure staff hiring is conducted efficiently and in compliance with MWL policies and national labour law.

· Ensure a transparent, timely and efficient recruitment process.

· Ensure pre-employment requirements are submitted and personnel file with documentation according to HR checklist is opened for new staff on a timely basis.

· Ensure that all staff have undergone onboarding orientation & training.

Compensation & Benefits

· Ensure the timely and efficient payroll preparation for accurate data on donor code, number of days, benefits.

· Ensure the proper and accurate tracking of leave.

· oversee the periodic salary review and analysis, and review and revision of new salary structure, as appropriate.

Employee Relations

· Ensure the timely processing of new contract, contract extension, staff transfer, promotions and other change of status.

· Manage processes related to disciplinary actions, staff separation, and termination.

· Respond to employee related queries and provide services to all HR related inquiries and requests.

· Keep MWL Team Member Guide updated and constantly communicate it, along with other HR policies to staff.

· Make sure that employees’ files are auditable at all times as per MWL standards and any relevant donors’ requirements.

· Respect and apply all the PSEA principles, and show high commitment to report any SEA action.

Training & Development

· Lead building the annual training and development plan as per MWL training and development SOP’s.

· Oversee training, and capacity building/development projects.

· Coordinate both technical and general training initiatives that enhance staff core, common, managerial and technical competencies.

· Review annual training and development report to make sure that both ATP and IDP achieved their objectives.

Performance Management System

· Build, review and enhance MWL PMS.

· Write PMS reports based on the performance management cycle implemented at MWL (performance objective agreement, performance assessment, and performance review.)

· nuance MWL management team’s on how to properly conduct and track evaluations processes.

· Ensure that HR staff maintains required databases to track probation and annual evaluations.

Note: the above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Another future responsibilities/accountability may be assigned to the job depending on the department organizational chart.

Qualification (Education/Work Experience)

Essential:

· Bachelor's Degree in business administration, HR or related fields.

· Three years of HR experience.

· Very Good level in English, and Arabic.

Desirable:

· MBA or master's degree in business administration, Information Technology or related fields.

· More than five years of experience HR.

· Advanced level of both English, Arabic, and Turkish is plus.

· knowledge of HR competency system.

· Experience in working with NGO’s.

· Good knowledge about Turkish labour law.
