We aim to protect women, youth, people with disabilities, and children's rights by the constitution and legislation systems.
Job Purpose
Mercy Without Limits is working in the following sectors: Protection, Education, FSL, WASH, and Early Recovery.
The program manager will take responsibility for the projects' implementation by supporting the projects managers or coordinators. He/she should coordinate with the partnership department in securing the fund for the projects and working closely with the operations team to secure all the projects' needs. He/she should have experience ensuring the quality of the projects in collaboration with the MEAL department.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programs Management:
- To develop and maintain Programs department policies and SOPs in cooperation with clusters, partners, donors, and project staff.
- To supervise the projects managers/coordinators in implementing and matching the donors/partners' deadlines
- To review and approve the projects charters, projects structures, and work plans that developed by the project team.
- To work on the Risk Management Plan for the projects.
- To support in the Budget Management and manage the projections of the expenses according to project outputs and results.
- To work in securing the access and safety for the projects staff in cooperation with the safety & security officer.
- To held regular meetings with Projects staff to review the projects implementation and the updates on the context.
- To manage the project team to complete the project objectives on time and on budget, while ensuring that the project meets high-quality standards.
- To evaluate activity progress to determine necessary actions.
- To lead the process and provide project reports that are timely and meet organizational and donor requirements and regulation.
- To coordinate with all the related stakeholders.
2. In coordination with the Partnership Department:
- To support the partnership department in developing the partners satisfactions and sustain the relation with partners by attending regular meetings with partners.
- To work with the Partnership coordinator on developing and writing new proposals.
3. In coordination with the MEAL Department:
- To work closely with MEAL in standardizing the tools for each sector in line with the donor requirements in a timely manner.
- To work with the MEAL department in evaluating the project outcomes.
- To develop accountability mechanisms with the MEAL department and support the field staff to implement it accurately.
4. Sub-tasks related to:
- Other tasks assigned by the employee’s Line Manager corresponding to the actual needs of the mission, programs, and projects.
- To supervise the process of training cadres in the branches and the field
- To submit a monthly report on the proper progress of work and its problems.
Note: the above mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Another future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department organizational chart.
Qualification (Education/Work Experience/Languages)
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Social Sciences, Projects Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
- 4 years at least of work experience in projects management related to MWL’s mandate.
- 2 years in program management in humanitarian and development sectors.
- Experience in developing SOPs, polices and plans.
- Experience in multi-sector such as Protection, Education, FSL and emergency response.
- Fluency in English Language (4 skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing).
- Fluency in the Arabic Language (4 skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing).
Desirable:
- Master degree in: degree in: Engineering, Social Sciences, Projects Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
- 8 years at least of work experience in projects and programs management.
- Have PMP certificate or PgMd.
- Good Command of Turkish Language (4 skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing).
