About SENED:
SENED is an independent non-governmental and non-profit organization established in 2013 and registered in Turkey with the number 27-15-175. Sanad was established by a group of humanitarian and social activists in responding to the Syrians suffer since 2011.
SENED has become specialized in working with and supporting people with disabilities since 2015 due to the realization of the tremendous tragedy that people with disabilities live in Syria through periodic visits to their places.
We are working on empowering those vulnerable people through providing capacity building and life skills training, psychosocial support, educational and vocational qualifying, providing supporting equipment, supporting their families, building the capacity of people who deal with them and conducting researches that contribute to advocating their cause and reintegrate them in the community. Additionally, we are not working just to integrate them in the community but also to provide them with decent life conditions along with their families.
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Project Implementation:
Implement individual protection assistance activities through assessment, case planning, case implementation, follow up and case closure through regular case committee meetings
Work with the team in the organization and externally to identify and register individual cases requiring protection intervention in the field and/or through community center visit,
Undertaking rapid and detailed assessments of beneficiaries,
Implement IPA intervention plans as per CM/IPA SOP,
Identify individual protection cases and case follow up until case closure.
Accompanying beneficiaries for referrals etc. if necessary
Supporting the service mapping and keeping service map updated
Reporting and assisting Project Officer for project reports.
Support to record registered cases in the database in a timely manner and update information as necessary and ensure that progress is updated in the database,
Ensuring accurate, timely and secure data entry of all the cases.
Implementation of outreach for information dissemination regular and innovative ways
Maintain highly organized IPA hard copy files and update the database on a regular basis,
Support and promote the standards outlined in the Code of Conduct and associated policies to project team.
Representing organization when needed professionally.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree (preferable in education, social work, sociology, psychology or) in related subject area
Experience in case management and/or IPA
Knowledge about referral pathways.
Excellent communication, reporting and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Ability to contribute to the development of new or existing internal systems.
Commitment to humanitarian principles and values

Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively in written and spoken Arabic and English. Turkish is plus
NGO experience
Ability to organize and prioritize workload, using initiative when appropriate

Ability to cope with stress; work under pressure often to strict deadlines
