Job Title: Logistics Support Officer.
Reporting to: Logistics Support Manager/ Operation Director
Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Once order requests or purchase orders are received, it is up to the Logistic Officer to manage the pulling and packing of materials and arrange appropriate transportation. Among the tasks that might need to be completed in this responsibility include freight consolidation, cost analysis, routing and scheduling. Logistics Officer must also track shipments to ensure they arrive on time and that shipment and delivery processes adhere to any pertinent regulations.
· Ensures the organization works with competent and reliable suppliers. To do this, he has to evaluate all potential suppliers before entering into supply contracts. This process usually involves interviewing the managers of the supply firms, making site visits and measuring other aspects such as quality assurance, organizational structure and financials. Based on the gathered information, the logistics officer awards a score to each vendor for approval and rejection purposes.
· Maintain records of all outstanding purchase orders with external vendors and arrange transportation and forwarding services for all orders to ensure delivery on schedule.
· Provide day-to-day support to OB staff, including telephones, internet service and office equipment and identify future needs.
· Support the planning and organization of meetings and workshops by Ensure timely welcome services.
· Submit periodic reports on his work to his direct supervisor/manager.
· Propose whatever he deems appropriate to improve the quality of work.
· Carry out other tasks assigned to him at the request of his supervisor/manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.

Experience:
At least one year of experience in logistics support.
The language:
Both English and Arabic.
